The supplied adapter plate works with a variety of rope lights, string lights, and lightweight decorations. Once the awning support is secure, your lights can be raised without climbing a ladder.

Secure your awning
Deploy the awning, then complete these steps before adding lights or decorations.

Connect the bracket
Attach the tie-down bracket to the pole, then connect the tie-down to the bracket.

Set the support pole
Screw the pole into the receiver and extend it until it meets the ground securely.

Secure the tie-down
Anchor and tension the tie-down so the reinforcement system is stable before continuing.

Add campsite lighting
Raise your lights from the ground
Add the lighting hardware while assembling the support poles, then use paracord to lift the strand into place.

Add the carabiners
Place the light-hanging carabiners on the tie-down brackets before attaching the brackets to the extension poles.

Connect lights and cord
Attach one end of the lights to the first adapter. Tie paracord to the other end and thread it through the carabiner on the second pole.
- 03
Lift and tie off
Install both poles, pull the paracord until the lights reach the desired height, then tie off the cord securely.
